About the camp

About the camp
Broadway Camp Poland is a week with the best artists from the Polish musical scene, theatre and television actors and stage stars who will be there especially for you. They will conduct singing, acting and dancing classes, talk about their career path, draw attention to the beauty of the artist’s profession, but also the associated risks. It is a great opportunity to make new acquaintances, develop your artistic skills, and also a chance to discover your talent.

We invite you to participate in the “Broadway Camp Poland” Music Camp, which will be held in ZĄB. There are no age limits, so everyone can take part in classes – children, youth, students or adults. You will habe a chance to get acquainted with the actor’s and vocalist’s workshop and the tasks that you have to face candidates for a future artist. We will show our participants how to discover their own stage skills, express their emotions and play dramatic and comedy roles. We will also present various vocal techniques and teach how to use them on stage. The camp will include acting classes, music, choreography, simulation games and much more. At the end of the camp everyone will have the opportunity to perform in a talent show and the winner will perform his or her own recital during one of the most prestigious galas in Poland. The camp will be conducted by professional musicians, actors, singers, journalists and image creation specialists.

Broadway Camp will end with a TALENT SHOW, which will be open exclusively to camp participants, and the main prize will be the opportunity to give a recital at a prestigious business gala organized by the Creative Agency.

Classes offered within the camp:

Workshops that will allow you to use basic acting tools like body, voice, emotions and imagination. They will inspire you to act creatively and teach you how to create a convincing and credible character on stage using improvisation techniques.

Whatever your level is, we will give you the right tools to work on your voice. We will teach you a variety of vocal techniques and exercises for self-developing. During the individual classes you will get to know the real possibilities of your voice – we will take care of its colour equalization and bring out its full scale.

An integral part of each and every good musical. You will be introduced to the basic elements of stage movement and choreography. You will learn various dance techniques used in musicals ranging from classical to modern.

If you have ever thought about creating your own art, this class is just for you – you’ll get to know the scriptwriter’s workshop, from the choice of topic to the way you create your characters and write dialogues.

The secret of a good interpretation is to find meaning and truth in a musical text. We will teach you how to always be convincing to your audience when looking for your own interpretation.

Using self-presentation techniques, we will teach you how to effectively work on your image, speak during public speeches and maintain good contact with your audience.

Start with Bach” is an optional classes in the form of a seminar broadening the knowledge of music history.

A good performance consists of many elements, one of them is conscious breathing – we will make sure that it is appropriate during body awareness exercises and music therapy.

It may seem simple, however, it requires listening to each other and adapting to other people, so that from a group of individual voices – a harmonious, beautifully sounding team is formed. We will create a “Broadway Camp” choir and together we will perform the most beautiful choral pieces.

Learn how to conduct interviews in a way that is interesting for the audience. Professional journalists will share their professional secrets with you and show you possible career paths in this profession. Classes will include working with a microphone and body language.
